As one of the largest providers of professional training for the health and fitness industry in the UK, we’re always brewing up new, innovative ways to produce the very best fitness professionals!
We understand that health and leisure clubs have enough on their hands in the competitive fitness industry, and that ensuring the highest quality fitness professionals is a number one priority.
So, we’d like to introduce our Staff Academy…
Our corporate team have the expertise and experience to deliver top quality, bespoke staff training at your venue, at your convenience… and at a cost that we think will fit the bill too.
Many fitness organisations undergoing funding cuts often feel that staff training must take a backseat. That’s where we come in, to provide the high quality skills training required, at a budget-friendly cost to the business.
The fitness industry continues to grow and develop. The need for qualified professionals to tackle the rising obesity crisis through GP referral continues to increase. And as the fitness sector continues to demonstrate the benefits of exercise for a number of health issues, qualified staff are in huge demand.
We’ll deliver Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications to your staff anywhere in the UK. We provide top quality, bespoke training solutions and our tutors will travel to you, saving your business valuable time and money.
A look at our results…
We’ve been providing training to Oldham Community Leisure for over 8 years. Our friendly and highly experienced tutors deliver apprenticeship qualifications through a mix of tutor supported home study and in-house workshops to around 20 members of staff each year.
Louise McGreal, Head of Human Resources for Oldham Community Leisure said:
“A high proportion of our current training requirement is for our apprentices. The team at Focus are experienced in dealing with young people and can motivate and coach them effectively to complete their
qualification. They understand our business and work flexibly alongside us to help our staff succeed.”
Warehouse Fitness in the Isle of Man asked us to deliver Level 2 Gym Instructor and Spin
Instructor courses to 13 students. Owner Karen Hanly told us;
“Bringing Focus Training to run their courses at our facility was a huge success, not only did it reduce the cost dramatically, it also opened up the training possibility to others. We are already planning further training programmes with Focus.”
Our Operations Director Ben Jackson adds:
“Whether you are a multi-venue local authority or an independent gym, our Staff Academy will add value and save you money on your training programme. We provide expert tutors on-site who are backed by our experienced head office team who will ensure that every aspect of the service is outstanding.”
If your in-house training could use our help, we’re happy to drop in to provide a free training audit and advise on where we can add value to your training process.
