Government backing for personal trainer courses

Government backing for personal trainer courses

Future personal trainers and fitness instructors, who are completing a personal trainer course starting on or after 1st August 2013, might be eligible for the Government Advanced Learning Loan. This scheme is designed to help students pay tuition fees that are charged by the Colleges and Training Organisations.

Those eligible for the Advanced Learning scheme are those aged 24+, studying a level 3 or above personal trainer course and are currently living in England, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and have been for at least three years. When you get a job after completing the course and earn under £21,000 a year, then you won’t have to pay anything back until you’re earning enough. For more information about the Advanced Learning Loans, contact Focus Training today.

If you were thinking about going into personal training, but weren’t sure if you could afford the payments for the courses, then at least now you don’t have to worry and it will be well worth it in the end.

Focus Training work with the UK’s leading fitness organisations and have personal training courses to suit all abilities. Whether you’re looking to start your career off for the first time as a fitness instructor, or want to carry on building up your skills and expertise, Focus Training can help you.
