Boxing is an ancient artform – and it requires a significant number of specialist skills and techniques. Anyone can train using a punch bag and burn some calories, but to be a boxing expert, you need some expert training.
That’s why we offer the PURE Padwork course. This excellent one-day workshop will provide personal trainers with the necessary knowledge to deliver Padwork classes to clients.
With a particular focus on understanding fitness training techniques, this course will involve a range of boxing-related exercises – including the use of punch bags and pads.
The use of boxing techniques to hone fitness and stamina is becoming increasingly widespread and is popular with both men and women. A highly skilled sport in itself, bringing boxing into the wider community requires a level of understanding and knowledge to make it safe for all. This workshop covers fitness training techniques employed by boxers and explains the punching techniques to be used on punch bags and focus pads.
Taking place over one day, PURE Padwork will provide personal trainers with the necessary skills to deliver effective training sessions for clients.
But this won’t be just a practical course. Students will also receive an in-depth explanation into the theory of boxing, and why certain techniques and stances take precedence over other outdated strategies.
You will also acquire the analytical skills to create tailor-made boxing sessions suitable for a range of clients – from beginners to experienced.
