Mental Health Awareness

£195

Around 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem every year. Every week, 1 in 6 people in England are reporting a common mental health problem such as depression or anxiety.

Regular exercise is a powerful tool to combat mental health issues. Studies estimate that 30 minutes of physical activity per day, over a period of 3 to 5 days, can improve the symptoms of depression. Exercise affects the chemistry of the human body, working as a powerful natural antidepressant with no harmful side effects. Exercise stimulates the body and the mind, combatting feelings of sadness, anxiety, irritability, stress, fatigue, anger and lack of self-confidence.

This course will give you a better understanding of mental health and mental health issues.
