Gaining the qualifications to become an Aqua Fitness Instructor will give you the skills, knowledge, and techniques to deliver effective water-based exercise classes to a range of people.
At Focus Training our Aqua Aerobic Instructor Course is a nationally recognised qualification perfect for those looking to expand into this growing area!
What is Aqua-Aerobics?
Aqua aerobics is defined as physical activities you take part in while your body is either partially or fully submerged in water. By doing this, you’re providing your body with a full workout that assists both the body and the cardiovascular system.
Swim England’s Swimming and Health Commission even highlighted the positive benefits of exercising in water, saying it can be a far more effective method of exercise for several people.
This is mostly due to water activities causing minimal impact on the body, which can help to open up a wider client base for you.
Who Benefits from Aqua-Aerobics?
When it comes to qualifying in the world of aqua aerobics, everyone from experienced to beginner personal trainers, coaches, gym instructors, fitness leaders, and professionals can train in this area. All you need to have is a passion for the fitness industry, while a love of the water is always beneficial.
Meanwhile, clients from all walks of life and fitness levels can benefit from water aerobics, ranging from young children and adults to the elderly and those living with disabilities.
